My story

Originally from Madagascar, I came to France, without a well-defined vision but more with the aim of discovering another culture than the one I had. Finally, I decided to live in Belgium, a country completely different from France and where we speak several languages.

A few years later, I wanted to work in an English speaking country so I moved to England.

I have 3 children who are now adults and with them I have realized that life is not just about having a job and a house. I believe that we are all born, with one (or more) potential inside of us and the best way to live is to know what that (or these) potential is to determine what is the purpose of our life.

I had a serious car accident in Belgium in 1992, this accident made me realise first of all the importance of life, a life which can disappear in the blink of an eye. I almost lost my life with that accident and I lost my car, but I was alive and when I woke up in the hospital I started by saying thank you to God

 

When I was little, I grew up with my grand-parents and my grandmother, took me to church every Sunday and taught me about God, about how to respect others, she shared her faith with us indeed.

So after the accident, I thanked the Lord while thinking of those years when we went to church but I also thought of my children. I told myself then that it was time to change the way I think because I had responsibilities, I had children who were still small, without really knowing at that moment that if I was still alive, it was by God's Grace, a God full of love.

But when I was at the hospital, the doctor said that a surgery was required in order to repair the broken bones of my face but they needed to wait for the right time to do it but 2 months after I left the hospital, my face was completely restored by The Grace of God and no surgery was necessary. God hasn't changed and today, He can still change life, heal people, restore relationships. We just need to believe in Him.
